The boats to the islands in the south archipelago depart from Saltholmen.

The boats depart approximately every hour. The boats operate on three different routes; the Brännö Rödsten route, the Vrångö route and the Förö route. A round trip to Brännö Rödsten takes 45 minutes and to Vrångö 2 hours. The Förö route takes you to the summer islands, please observe that the summer islands have limited traffic.

Älvsnabben and Älvsnabbare

There are two different routes on the Göta Älv with the harbour traffic. The Älvsnabben route takes you from Lilla Bommen to Klippan via Rosenlund – Lindholmspiren – Slottsberget – Eriksberg. The Älvsnabbare route operates between Lindolmspiren and Rosenlund Monday-Friday.

Excursions

There are many different nice excursions available all year around. During the summer the islands offer nice swimming, autumn and spring is a lovely time for a walk around the islands and during the winter it can be nice to go for a trip and stay onboard and have a cup of coffee. If there is ice in the archipelago it is even more exciting.
