The boats to the islands in the south archipelago depart from Saltholmen.
The boats depart approximately every hour. The boats operate on four different routes; 281 the Vrångö route, 282 the Brännö Husvik route, 283 the Brännö Rödsten route and 284 the Förö route. A round trip to Brännö Rödsten takes 45 minutes and to Vrångö 2 hours, with fast boat 1 hour. The Förö route takes you to the summer islands, please observe that the summer islands have limited traffic.
Älvsnabben and Älvsnabbare
There are two different routes on the Göta Älv with the harbour traffic. The Älvsnabben route 285 takes you from Lilla Bommen to Klippan via Rosenlund – Lindholmspiren – Slottsberget – Eriksberg.
The Älvsnabbare route 286 operates between Lindolmspiren and Rosenlund Monday-Friday.
There are many different nice excursions available all year around. During the summer the islands offer nice swimming, autumn and spring is a lovely time for a walk around the islands and during the winter it can be nice to go for a trip and stay onboard and have a cup of coffee. If there is ice in the archipelago it is even more exciting.
